This is fascinating from a strategic decision making perspective. Does Apple believe it does not need Play Store/Android to be successful (but Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, FB do)?
Does this mean Apple does not care about its mixed device home users (like mine, we have all of the below operating systems) being happy?
Does this mean Apple worries it will "lose control" if it release things on Android?
Does this mean Apple wants you to play in its playground or f-off?
Does this mean.... something else? What do you think it is?
We are a mixed-device house (just for tablets we have a Surface, iPad and Nexus). We love a mix of apps from the companies below - have faves in each (though only Weather from Y!). Why can't we use the same apps regardless of OS (and pay for them just once!!!)?
